She would very much like to stay out of history, but after the Crone retaliates and musters an army of undead Hollow Knights, Zoe becomes the centre of a prophecy no one fully understands.

Zoe’s magic may be unreliable. Her dæmon may be insufferable and her love life politically catastrophic. But if the Crone thinks the granddaughter of Sorcha Glas is going quietly, she clearly hasn’t met Jack.
