War is upon the land...

Serena returned to Yuiba with her fated Link – the vampire prince from Shasrukar. Her wedding was a grand affair, but quickly turned sou when the head of a beloved guard was delivered on their doorstep. Eshus has declared war and now Serena must decide to either stay safe in Yuiba, or join the fight.

Evadne and Ryker's love for each other continues to grow – is a marriage on the horizon, or will she put it off until the war is over? While she debates this, she agrees to train Serena. The prophecy of her birth hangs over her head and she has succeeded in bringing most of Yuiba together, but how will she connect with the fae, who now live in Bozurid?

Kali is now in the midst of a two-front battle – convincing The Council of the Dragon to ally themselves with the Yuiban military and figuring out her feelings surrounding a certain armaglast. Her fellow weredragons seem eager to fight, which relieves her of one burden. Yet when dealing with matters of the heart, she'd rather not dwell on the subject. Will she be forced to confront it, or continue to ignore the signs?
