Simone Pepperdine’s business is in jeopardy. After a drunken rant about love being a scam goes viral she has to do some damage control ASAP. After all, it’s not a good look for the “love doctor” to be dissing love. When her agent suggests she invent a relationship to fix her image, Simone isn’t so sure. Until she overhears her best friend’s brother talking about needing help getting back on the dating scene. Simone’s a fixer, and desperate.

To repair this mess, and keep a lucrative business deal in play, she promises to help Jared get back in the game. All he has to do in return is attend several events with Simone as her loving, devoted, boyfriend.
