The Dark Gods' Host

The Dark Gods' Host

by

Laura E. Thompson

Wracked with guilt over the capture of Algor by the druids, Moya and Will feel responsible. Together with the two others that love Algor most, his daughter Sowena and his son-like friend Ronan, the group searches for their friend. They find him but a rescue means Will must face off directly against his mother, the Head Priestess of the druids and the woman who killed his father. Will’s anger toward his mother drives him to the brink of a murderous rage, which invites the dark gods to live within him.
Meanwhile, the Duchess is now on the throne, the queen of the oldest and most powerful kingdom in the land. But she is soon bored with the day-to-day life of a queen and searches for someone to love. Megaira’s desperation to be cared for causes her to cross lines which should not be crossed and that could cause imprisonment or beheading if the secret is discovered.
The witches’ power is hanging by a thread and the dark creatures are waiting in the wings to clutch it.
