Victoria Deveraux is the Heiress of her wolf pack, the Decants, with her father as the pack's current Alpha. The Decants have a truce with the vampire pack, the Nantas. The Master Nanta, Jonathon Normand, was Victoria's best friend when they were children, a secret that both of their parents hid from their people as such a relationship was forbidden. Now, Alpha Nicholas has asked for Jonathon and Victoria to work together to solve a string of murders that are being staged as Decant attacks on Nantas.
