Challenging the Heart

of

In the MMA world, Kane Mitchell is at the top of his game until one parking lot fight goes viral. When his world begins to crumble around him, his Public Relations Manager throws out a plan, knowing that Kane would object: Kane must be in a relationship. Enter Daphne Wilson, a recent marketing graduate who is looking to enter the world of Public Relations. At a job interview she receives an offer that shocks her: the chance to be Kane's girlfriend for one year, complete with a large paycheck and a guaranteed job at the end of the year.

What could she do but say yes?

When the time comes to put the plan into action, sparks begin to fly. Kane's brash and blunt personality clashes with Daphne's professionalism and determination. Yet their hostility hides an attraction that continues to grow between them.  As the lines between what is fake and what is real begin to blur, they find themselves revealing their true selves to the other.

As pressures grow and the stakes increase, their budding relationship faces public scrutiny and challenges. Could what started as pretend really turn into something real, or will they have to walk away at the end of the year? As Kane prepares for the fight of his life, he discovers that love might be the ultimate challenge worth pursuing.
