Some secrets should stay buried… especially on Halloween.

Theo has kept our relationship a secret for over a year. He won’t give me a label or a commitment. All I get are stolen nights at an exclusive club where pleasure is edged with pain and his word is my law. He claims it’s meant to protect me, but from what?

Since he refuses to tell me, I do what any woman tired of being a secret would do: I track his phone. And when he suddenly leaves town in the middle of the night, I follow him.

I expect to find him with another woman. Maybe a secret family. Instead, he leads me to a foreboding castle guarded by armed men. The host for tonight’s Halloween party already knows my name. Knows what I’ve done and what I want. He proposes I trick Theo into staking a claim on me.
