All I’ve known my entire life is how to mask the pain. The pain of my abuse. The self-hatred that followed.

I was drowning in it until I learned how good it could feel to be in control.

Controlling calories, emotions, even the marks on my body. If I can just keep an iron grip on everything and everyone around me- and never let anyone get too close- everything will be just fine. Everything.

For years, my father had complete control over me, but now its my turn.
