Faking the Fall

I agreed to marry my boss—who, despite being five years older than me, has the sense of humor of a teenager—for one year so he can access his trust fund. In exchange, he’ll give me half, so I can help my family with our mounting bills.

Unfortunately, the more time we spend together outside of work, the more I learn that he’s not just funny, he’s protective and loyal.

It’s all leaving me wondering what might happen if I let go and trust that this marriage can work.
