Summer has arrived on Moonstone Isle, and Ivy longs for one last moment of freedom before she steps into her awaited fate as the future queen of Bloomhaven Kingdom. Being a princess is one thing, but fulfilling that role is another. Ivy has earned the chance to represent her kingdom at the lost princess’s birthday ball in Coral Cove. She is determined to prove she can be responsible, while also having fun. But she won’t be going alone.
Keeping Ivy safe and out of trouble, Myles, her grumpy, broody bodyguard, takes his job seriously with a side of whiskey. Spending time with the princess is a challenge; their banter keeps them in constant tension. Under the watchful eyes of those closest to her, Ivy searches for true love, only to fall for someone she can’t have. With a masquerade ball on the horizon, Ivy and Myles risk putting their hearts on the line but it might cost them more than they have to bargain for.
Meanwhile, something is changing on the Isle—the seasons are being altered, the elements shifting. Mysterious pirates sail to the Isle’s shores, claiming they know how to get rid of this so-called curse. The challenges they face during their trip to Coral Cove force Ivy and Myles to bond in ways they never thought possible, uncovering feelings they believed were buried.
