The Games We Play
by
Alyssa Martin
Taylor Coleman
I don’t have time for distractions. Balancing college baseball, classes, and keeping my younger sister out of trouble is enough.
But sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I ever had time for things like dating.
The only problem? I’m inexperienced. As in, completely.
So when my best friend and star basketball player, Todd, offers to help me practice, it seems like a good idea. He’s always been there for me, so the last thing he’ll do is distract me from what’s important . . . right?
Todd Bergman
I’m in love with my best friend, and she has too much going on to notice. I’ve always had her back and been the safe place she can run to. So when she asks for help with dating, it feels natural to say yes.
But the longer we practice, the more the lines blur . . . are we still friends, or something more?
