Things Between Shadow and Light

Ezra, a 200 year old vampire living in California, spends his nights working on his web comic, surfing, and getting lost in the pounding hearts that fill the local clubs.

Every night is the same.

His routine never changes.

And he likes it that way.

But one evening, the empty apartment across from his becomes occupied, and the building welcomes a new tenant, one who seems to disappear at night around the same time he does. Despite his suspicions, he keeps his distance, until the peace he’s found is taken away from him.

Meeting the new tenant kicks off a chain of events that lead him far from where he started, him and his new ‘neighbor’ both, and the two find themselves on the other side of the world on the fringes of other’s plots and power grabs, and the unraveling of immortality.
