What is a Stuff Your Kindle event?

A Stuff Your Kindle event is when a bunch of Kindle books are placed on sale for a limited time. They are linked to on a dedicated webpage that visitors can visit to find new books and download many different kinds of books all at once. Typically, the books are priced $0.99 or free for the duration of the event, which is typically 1-5 days long. Readers can view and RSVP to our once a month events and be reminded of their favorite events when they are coming up.

What are the benefits of a Stuff Your Kindle event as an author?

As an author, a Stuff Your Kindle event is a great way to get more sales and more exposure for your book. While you may not make much per book, in the long run you will sell more books during the event than you may in any other given week. It may take time, but many of the readers that pick up the books during this event will not only read your book, but they may post reviews as well. They may even be knocking at your door, asking where the next book is!

How can I participate?

Indie Author Central holds a Stuff Your Kindle event every month. Participation is completely free and the only thing you have to lose is not joining and not getting the exposure you could be getting! Join an event today and start getting your book out there!
