When Hurricane Helene slams into the Blue Ridge Mountains, the quiet town of Chimney Rock is swallowed by raging floodwaters. Afghanistan veteran Brody Spatz knows how to survive chaos, but even his training can’t prepare him for being stranded with Camille Hess—a stubborn, outspoken city girl with no wilderness experience and no filter.

Thrown together by circumstance, Brody and Camille must battle the storm, hostile strangers, and the unforgiving mountain terrain. And in the close quarters of a hidden mountain cave, the line between frustration and desire blurs into something neither of them can resist.
